CARLTON ANNOUNCES WINNER OF SEBTA 2010
The Carlton Group has announced that the winner of SEBTA 2010 is Elisabeth Cox from Burton College.
The award, which was presented to Elisabeth at the Grand Final in Brighton on 17th June 2010 in front of invited guests, journalists, fellow finalists and lecturers from the finalist colleges, celebrates the very best in facial electrotherapy.
The lucky winner was presented with £500 and their prestigious SEBTA 2010 trophy and will receive a Carlton Ultraderm machine. The winning lecturer, Donna Bird receives £250 whilst the winning college, Burton College, received a cheque for £1000.
Second prize was awarded to Stacey Darke from North Lindsey College, whilst third prize went to Jessica McCabe from Sussex Coast College Hastings. Runners up included Iwona Siwek from City & Islington College, Hannah Alden from Fareham College and Agnes Balassa from Oxford & Cherwell Valley College.
The first of its kind in the UK, the Student Electrotherapy Beauty Therapist Award (SEBTA) is open to all Level 3 students, or above, whatever their age. The competition is not exclusive to colleges using Carlton Professional equipment.
